This week we’re talking about mental health. With the recent suicides of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain, and countless personalities recently coming out with their own personal struggles with mental health, we thought this was a good time to have a conversation about mental health in America in general, and black america in particular. We decided to have the conversation now because the stigma placed on mental health is so overwhelming in the black community, so many of us aren’t having this conversation regularly. We are by no means experts in this area, but what we had here was a common sense version of what (in our opinions) the national conversation should be.
